asked the food bank manager.
“We’re faith-based,” I said. “We believe that Jesus rose from the dead, and that those those who trust in him will be raised from the dead too—into a world where needs are met and relationships restored. So we are trying to anticipate that day by working towards it now.”
“Bless you,” she replied. “I’am an atheist. We have all sorts here.”
Because we work with all faiths and none, our convictions can be dialled up or down accordingly.
When those who believe in the resurrection break bread together, wine is consumed. This gives a vision of the feast to come where wine is drunk and fault lines healed. 1 Inspired by this world where healing flows like wine, we help you to work for healing in yours.
Our activities (WHAT WE DO? above) further reflect the three offices of Christ: prophet, priest, and king. The offices are qualified by values, which together—royal faith (receiving worth from God); priestly love (adding worth to the world); and prophetic hope (vouching for worth’s resurrection)—give a model of whole-life discipleship. The booklet below elaborates.
Each of these offices—the prophetic, the priestly, and the royal—has at least one corresponding workplace seminar. These seminars can be tabulated as follows:
| Seminar | Office | Value | Benefit—objective | Benefit—subjective 2 |
| Worship@Work | Royal | Faith | Equality 3 | Flourishing 4 |
| Forgiveness@Work | Priestly | Love | Worth | Affection |
| Stress@Work | ” | ” | ” | ” |
| Witness@Work | Prophetic | Hope | Truth | Reflection |
